The War On Truth

Because our status as a dreamer in this dream is a fixed fact, the option to be some kind of a ‘person’ is zero. The dream displays all the ways ‘the dreamers’ in this dream fill time dragging out the lie they are some kind a person, often, to clinch the deal, a less than okay person, like someone with "low esteem," or a "loser," or someone obviously ruined by a "bad childhood."

None of this is true, and all of it describes how ‘The dreamers’ in this dream fill time. In fact, we can call this "The Main Event" in this dream because it describes how the majority of the dreamers fill time. Once a dreamer assembles what it takes to play the part of some kind of a person in this dream, it is often "good to go" for the duration of its appearance in the dream.

The dream features all the ways ‘the dreamers’ imposter being some kind of a person, and what kind of drama they create to drag out the fiction they are the ‘real person’ they insist they are. "Reality," from the perspective of ‘drama,’ would be nothing, literally, unless ‘the dreamers’ filled time with this parody. Defending the lie a dreamer is some kind of a person is a full time job. Once the dreamer creates its personhood parody, it becomes the software that runs the dreamer’s personhood parody in the dream; and make no mistake about it, the parody includes what dreamers do to defend the lie they are the person they are impostering. The dreamer’s drama not only includes assembling what kind of a person it will imposter in the dream, but what it takes to defend the lie it is the person it is impostering, Time provides the arena for both, and both are what there is to witness in the dream on a daily basis.

The good news is, of course, there is no one to indict for impersonating a person in a dream. If this is a Mind generated dream, as the Buddha and many others suggested, then "reality" has nothing to do with people because there is no one to be one. In a dream? How?

Waking up in the dream includes reconnecting with the truth your status in the dream is a fixed fact: the dream is ‘on,’ as usual, it is what ‘right now’ is, and it features where all ‘the dreamers’ are in the dream with the truth. A few remain flat with the truth they are dreamers in the dream, with no interest in filling time impersonating a person, unless they do it tongue in cheek, while the bulk of the dreamers in this dream show a high level of devotion to defend the fiction they are the person they are impostering in the dream.

If right now is only a dream, so what! Reality, in this light, can only be a Mind generated fantasy featuring, of all things, ‘the dreamers,’ and how they reject or come to grips with the truth. Even a cursory observation of this event in the dream discloses exactly how ‘the dreamers’ fill time dragging out the lie they are the people they are impostering. It should comes as no big surprise that defending a lie as if it is a fact results in suffering. Suffering is central to this dream because most of ‘the dreamers’ in this dream show a profound reluctance to admit they know there are no people, only dreamers in the dream defending the fiction they are ‘the people’ they insist they are.

The defense of this lie is the centerpiece in this dream. No matter where you look, this is what there is to witness. If, as a dreamer, you still have one foot in the lie your personhood parody is the real deal, you will show up defending that parody as if someone’s life is at stake. Who could possibly have ‘a life’ in a dream? The dream features ‘the life’ the dreamer is having in the dream, either giving truth a hard time, or reconnecting with the fact it is much easier to be what you are instead of what you pretend to be.

It is no accident that dreamers live on the cusp of embarrassment because the rule is always staring them in the face: "Under no circumstances can a dreamer in a dream be, or become, a person," no matter how they fill time impostering being one. Because this drama is an event in the dream, in the end, isn’t it a comedy, just like Wei Wu Wei reminds us, ad nausea?

If we can’t be anything but what we are, and we fill time playing the part of some kind of a person, isn’t this the origin of retardation? It’s like telling another dreamer you can throw a ball a country mile, knowing your statement is not only not true, it’s funny.

As a rule, not too many dreamers, defending the fiction they are the person they are impostering, find truth very funny. The dead give-a-way for this fact shows up as endless defensiveness, because, as dreamers, we know at some level that nothing we do in a dream to prove people exist will ever work. We know the war we wage on truth isn’t winnable. We know ‘reality’ features dreamers impostering being some kind of a person, usually featuring a ‘flawed self,’ and yet, most dreamers in this dream show up to defend a fiction as if it is a fact for the duration. How lucky we are that all of this is only content in this Mind generated dream, and that none of it has, had, or will ever have, anything to do with people. There are no people to be ‘the doers’ of a single thing. Don’t we, as dreamers, love to pretend that simple fact is so difficult to ‘get.’

I work with dreamers who show a readiness to reconnect with the truth in this dream, but the road from the lie to the truth can be a long, winding road, even though truth itself, as Mind, is the context for the whole show, from start to finish. Lately, I am one with the truth not too many dreamers can make the shift from the lie to the truth in this dream. There is no one to be held accountable for this outcome: it happens in the dream, as an event, just like everything else, from ‘birth’ to ‘death,’ and everything in between.

This dream doesn’t feature too many dreamers chomping at the bit to shift from the lie to the truth because this is what most dreamers do in this dream. The drama we deliver in this dream is played against the fact nothing we do in the dream can alter our status in the dream. Once a dreamer, always a dreamer, regardless of ‘our’ level of devotion to the lie the game is winnable.

‘Sadness’ (not to mention ’anger’) is often the price we pay for pretending we don’t know ‘we’ lost the game before it began. Every dreamer, because it is one, has the opportunity to wake up in this dream, but the dream features most dreamers playing ‘hard ball’ by defending the fiction impostering being a person in a dream is a winnable hand in this impossible game.

The dream is the context for the whole show ‘the dreamers’ deliver in this dream. Might as well enjoy the show because that’s what exists to ‘go on.’ Pull up a chair, close your mouth and watch Mind deliver the goods, as everything ‘going on’ everywhere, all the time, with no exceptions. In particular, pay attention to ‘the dreamers’ and how they fill time dragging out the lie what they do in the dream will work to prove they are some kind of a person. Sipping a martini might help to deal with the endless incredulity of this drama.

There are days when the drama is so ‘unbelievable,’ a snapshot will catch you with your jaw hanging down around your knee caps. It pays to think, "and then what happened," or, "he did what?" The war on truth isn’t winnable, of course, but it sure fills this fantasy called "reality" with everything it needs to drag out the lie it’s all about ‘people,’ and the struggles they face trying to find "enlightenment," as if there is someone to achieve that goal, or anything else, for that matter.

From my perspective in the dream, nothing is more fun than assisting recalcitrant dreamers to reconnect with truth they pretend to be separate from. If truth is what we are, how can anything, including the use of ‘duality,’ work to prove defection from truth is possible?"

"The War on Truth" is pure slapstick: it is what you are even when you pretend you are not what it is. Indeed, truth is the context for the lies dreamers require to play the part of ‘some kind of a person’ in this dream. There are no people doing anything at all, ever. Truth doesn’t give a rat’s ass if dreamer you surrenders to this fixed fact or not. The odds are excellent that you will do the one or the other, and the statistics favor the odds that you will fill time defending the fiction you are ‘some kind of a person,’ often with ‘grave flaws.’ Most dreamers display a high level of uneasiness about defending this fiction as if it is a fact. Can you blame them?

PERSONHOOD ANTICS

Since no dreamer can be a person in this dream, regardless of where it is with that fixed fact, it’s only recourse in the dream is to practice its litany of ‘personhood behaviors,’ the ones it wants to hone to deliver a convincing personhood parody consistently over time. The list is huge because almost everything a dreamer does in this dream is ‘effort at the fiction people exist,’ especially the coveted, invented self, the one the dream features ‘the dreamer’ defending to play TAG (“The Anti-truth Game) successfully. Truth is very equalitarian because no dreamer in a dream will ever prove it is a person, which only makes the game of TAG even more challenging. There is no end to what dreamers create in the dream to drag out the fiction their set of tricks will offset truth. It’s only a parody in a dream, so none of it is serious, even though a huge percentage of our antics qualify as “very serious business.”

On a lighter note, as a dreamer, do you practice the smile you will use to portray a really “attractive, good looking person?” Almost all of the dreamers use the mirror to see in advance what kind of a look works best to fool the rest of the dreamers into thinking, “now that is a good looking smile.” All the dreamers watch ‘smiles’ to see whose rendition of a “good looking smile” works best to drag out the fiction a good smile will advance the fiction a real someone exists to have one. Since most of the other dreamers are adept at the art of ‘smiling,’ too, they know a practiced smile when they see it. If you run into a particularly good one, you can always file the one you just saw under “good smiles.” Later on, in front of the mirror, you can practice incorporating what you saw into your own smile. Obviously, there is always room for improvement.

Most dreamers know that the best defense of the invented self is to assemble a huge array of ‘victim behaviors’ that serve to drag out the lie a less than okay self, especially one that suffers regularly, has the legs to fill one ‘lifetime’ with dreamer antics. Once you own the truth this is how you use time, you are set free to identify this is how almost every dreamer uses time, some more, some less; but it is the dominant drama dreamers rely on to drag out the lie ‘a suffering self will qualify as a real self,’ as if there is such a thing. The dreamers all have a date with the fact there is no one to have one, and this provides the inspiration to say, as a basic adjunct to the game of TAG, “well we will see about that.”

In sleep, dreamers often take time off from using time to play the part of a real person in a dream that goes by the funny name of “reality,” but once we wake up in the dream from the dream we were in at night (in the dream), we must come to our senses, literally, and boot up into the memory of the personhood parody we deliver in the dream, day in and day out. This takes place in ‘the early morning’ in the dream, when sleep softened the contours of our personhood parody, and, as we boot up into the imaginary self, the full job description comes back into focus and dictates how we will use this chunk of time to play the part of some kind of a ‘real person.’

The victim drama works best if you boot up into a ‘bad mood’ in order to resuscitate the parameters of your ‘bad attitude’ that goes with the grudge you rely on to play the part of ‘a real offended being.’ Before your feet even hit the floor, you can engage in some preliminary reruns on ‘sarcasm,’ and ‘super know it all,’ or ‘aloof one.’ Whatever floats your dreamer drama in the dream, it requires at least visual practice, almost like looking in the mirror, to watch your performance even before you deliver it. Every morning in the dream is another dress rehearsal for the stand you will take in the dream to advance the impossible fiction that the way you use time will work to dispel truth and defend the fiction someone is doing something real. If you are a card carrying player of the game of TAG, this is the point of the game in this dream, and all ‘the dreamers’ know this and pretend they ‘forgot’ so they can drag out this drama one more time.

Let’s see, who is it you keep in place as “the enemy” so you can play the part of a genuine ‘tragic figure’ who uses time to ‘endure a difficult life?’ Dreamer drama depends on keeping other dreamers in place as ‘the villains’ who not only exist, but, as your story goes, exist to be held responsible for being ‘the ones that damaged me.’ No dreamer can play the part of a victim convincingly in this dream unless it defends its imaginary list of ‘victims and villains.’ Drama depends on a huge collection of lies in order to fill one ‘lifetime’ in this dream.

All dreamers must deal with the same problem, which is “The Dreamers’ Dilemma” in this dream: nothing they do in the dream will ever to work to prove people exist, not even with the use of the invented, less than okay self. No dreamer can deliver a convincing personhood parody without the creation of some kind of a self, and what works to almost pass for the real deal is the portrayal of a ‘long suffering someone’ with a ‘damaged self,’ which resulted in ‘low esteem,’ or a snappy cover up job of ‘superiority,’ or some combination of ‘inferior,’ often masked over with ‘superior’ to escape quick detection.

The dreamers in this dream fill time with the impossible task of using the invented self to drag out the fiction ‘this’ is real, and not content in a dream, and that all the dreamers are ‘the real people’ they work so hard to portray in this dream. There are no people to be held accountable for anything. There goes the justice system, and psychological tests to illuminate our problems, and all people-based assessment, including judgments and predictions and ‘conclusions’ about human behavior. Isn’t the defense of the lie the dreamers are the people they portray the basis for all commerce. It is what ‘industry’ is all about. If it is sold convincingly, using ‘sex’ as the come on (no pun intended), the dreamers will buy anything that enhances the lie something will make them smarter, faster, and more beautiful than the rest of the non-existent people who are all engaged in the game of TAG in this dream. The dream features ‘the dreamers’ all hooked into the game of TAG to defend “The Master Lie,” that nothing is content in a dream and ‘the people’ are ‘the people’ they portray in this dream. There is no one to be held accountable for playing TAG in this dream. The dream is the context for “The Whole Show,” including ‘the need for psychotherapy to resolve people’s problems.’

When does the parody become transparent? Well, perhaps you will catch yourself practicing you smile this week and the act will trigger “The Big Picture” and the epiphany will reveal the truth that the dream is ‘on,’ as usual, right now, featuring where all the dreamers are with that fact. Most don’t even watch when they practice their smile in the mirror for fear they will see that ‘life’ in the dream is one long practice session.

So what did your ‘boot up session’ include this morning in the dream?

GIVING TRUTH A HARD TIME

If right now is what Mind is dreaming, then right now can only be what the truth is. So what is dreamer you doing in the dream these days? Even a cursory observation of dreamer behavior in the dream reveals that we are all working as a vast team to contribute to the defense of “The Master Lie,” that this is not a dream and we are ‘the real people’ we insist we are.

Mind loves parody, and this parody is the winner. It is “The Main Event” in this dream. Wherever you look, what there is to watch is just how hard the dreamers work to defend the fiction they will prove they are ‘real people,’ with an invented self, no less, and a negative one to create ‘the suffering’ we require to bring authenticity to the charade.

If you are looking for humor, consider that the dreamers enjoy the fiction that suffering will clinch the parody because a life that hurts must be a real life, right? In this dream, the defense of the lie the self is real takes precedence over everything, including the humor that goes with knowing the dream is the context for the whole extravaganza. It isn’t easy for a dreamer to defend the fiction the invented self will work to cancel the fact the dream is the context for this parody. Dreamers must be “self-centered” if they use time almost exclusively to defend a fiction as if it is a fact. There is nothing funny, apparently, about the fact nothing going on has ever had anything to do with people. Isn’t this sufficient to qualify as the wellspring for humor?

Dreamers usually assemble a less than okay self as the one they will use in the dream to give truth a run for the money. Our motto is, “a suffering self is a real self.” If right now is a dream, then it follows that only the dreamers in the dream suffer from defending the fiction a less than okay self will work to win the game.

People have no place in the whole equation. Wei Wu Wei said this a million times, and dreamers are more than inclined to think dreamer Wei was engaged in a funny spoof. He was in the dream telling the rest of us the truth, and amnesia comes to the rescue to pretend he was sharing a metaphor. He was telling the truth about the architecture of this dream, and, understandably, dreamers think he is kidding around, or avoid him like the plague. How can you blame them? Our job in the dream is to use the invented self to drag out the fiction people exist. Reality is the arena for the metaphor dreamers are ‘real people.’

Once you get a toe hold on the truth right now is the dream Mind is dreaming, you are in a position, as a dreamer, to watch the way you use the self you invented to play the part of some kind of a specific person. Once you penetrate the fog bank of amnesia, you will uncover the full panoply of your own parody in this dream. There is no one to suffer from the truth there is no one to suffer. In this dream, history displays the record of suffering dreamers cooked up to delay their date with the fact the dream is the context for “The Whole Show.” Isn’t it brilliant that Mind is dreaming a dream in which every dreamer, in potential, can reconnect with the truth of the drama it delivers in this dream to drag out the fiction that life is all about people? Because our status in the dream as dreamers in the dream is a fixed fact, the personhood parody we deliver in the dream is always transparent. It is right there in your face for you to witness. After all, all dreamers share the same secret: nothing they do in the dream can revoke the fact that is what ‘this’ is.

If, as a dreamer, you abuse food to play the part of a less than okay, “fat person,” take heart: millions of dreamers use food as the imaginary person’s nemesis. Does the dreamer suffer from the struggle with food, or does the dreamer suffer from the lie food will work to prove the invented self is a real, albeit “fat” self?

If, as a dreamer, you fashioned an ‘angry self’ who relies on ‘grudge’ to prove the self you invented endured a ‘terrible childhood,’ take heart: this parody, above all else, works best to drag out the fiction the dreamer is ‘the real,’ not okay, person it insists it is. Think of how the parody called ‘grudge’ brings drama, including ‘revenge,’ and ‘retribution’ into the fray. What could be more real than dreamers playing the part of ‘angry people?’ This is the stuff ‘wars’ are made of, both small and big. Who is the ‘enemy’ if the dream is the context for this parody? The invented self prolongs its dualistic isolation by finding something ‘real’ to be against; a wife, a child, a nation, or its own ‘self,’ if all else fails. If this is a dream, this is dreamer -inspired drama, and it works, sort of, to make nothing look just like something.

If, as a dreamer, you rely on alcohol as the vehicle to document that the self you insist you have is flawed by its craving for booze, take heart: this is only one more, very popular, docudrama dreamers depend on to drag out the fiction the self is real, and a ‘tragic’ one at that.

We all possess the good fortune that our status as dreamers is a fixed fact. We can never be anything but Mind generated dreamers using time and trick to play the part of ‘real people’ in this dream. Nothing ‘going on’ is about anyone because there isn’t anyone to be anybody, including ‘upset’ about this fact. As dreamers, don’t we love to defend the delusion that a fictitious self could suffer a setback? There is no end to our proclivity to defend “The Master Lie,” that nothing is content in a dream, and we are ‘the real people’ we insist we are. What’s at risk is the truth -- nothing a dreamer does has any chance to prove someone has a self. It’s only a parody in a dream. Get real!

Every dreamer deserves compassion because they work so hard to defend the delusion a dreamer could morph into a person in a dream, and that’s not included in what ‘the truth’ is all about. And by the way, there is no you to apologize for defending the fiction what you do will work to prove the self you invented belongs to a ‘person.’ How could a self that is content in a dream have a genuine reference point?

It looks like dreamers enjoy giving truth a hard time by defending the invented self as if it belongs to a ‘real person.’ How many dreamers are even on the cusp of owning that chunk of truth? They are “out there” in the dream, but they remain silent to avoid making truth okay. We wonder how we would use time if we didn’t use it to play this remarkable game called TAG (“The Anti-truth Game”). Damn truth! Nothing we do in the dream will work to make it false, or not true. Truth has no place to go: why it even features ‘the dreamers’ filling time with the fiction the invented self will turn the tide and we will emerge triumphant from the battle. Lot’s of luck!

LEVELS OF AWARENESS

Once a dreamer in the dream reconnects with the truth “reality” is a Mind generated dream, the idea that’s not true becomes increasingly funny. If it is a constant, it is always true regardless of where the dreamers in the dream are with that fact. Because no dreamer can ever be anything but a dreamer in this dream, all ‘the dreamers’ know the truth, and they display where they are with that fact, either in full on dumb down mode, using time and tricks to wage war with truth, or showing signs of knowing the truth consciously.

Humor is a good index. What’s funny in the dream is the degree to which dreamers insist what they do will alter their status in the dream. If this is a dream and we can only be dreamers in this dream, our status is fixed and no personhood drama, no matter how dramatic and intense can make the slightest dent in the truth. That’s the beauty of truth: it never changes. The dream is always ‘on,’ as in ‘right now,’ for example, and it always reveals exactly where a dreamer is with the truth right now in the dream. This means every dreamer is utterly transparent.

I don’t work with disturbed teens. I work with adolescent dreamers who are at war with the truth. All dreamers are only at war with the truth, and the dream features most of us using time and tricks to play TAG with truth. Time features the space in which dreamers deliver their best shot to prove truth is false. In case you forgot, TAG stands for “The Anti-truth Game.” TAG is an event that takes place in the dream. The dream features the sum of what dreamers do in the dream to pretend they forgot the truth so they can fill space-time with our rendition of personhood. Dreamers display their level of devotion to the game of TAG, from high to low TAG. Once you own this fact, it is right there in your face.

High TAG requires high dumb down mode in order to pretend truth can be replaced with the fiction ‘this’ is real and ‘we’ are the people we work so hard to portray in this dream. As amnesia goes up, drama knows no limits. High TAG includes the creation of a less than okay self, which serves as the centerpiece for the dreamer’s negative, personhood parody.

Truth must be dismissed because it always threatens to reveal that TAG is played by the dreamers in this dream. Truth reveals that nothing going on has ever had anything to do with people, no matter how devoted the dreamer is to the defense of the fiction the self is real. There is no one to have one. In this dream, that is the “problem.” No dreamer can play the part of a ‘real person’ convincingly without the creation of a self, and the negative, not okay self, that suffers endlessly, works best to drag out the fiction life is all about people enduring difficult lives.

In the dream, TAG obscures truth with amnesia to make it possible for the dreamers to fill space-time with the fiction life is all about people. It isn’t, we know it, and not even dismissing knowing it will work to revoke it. The dreamers are “insecure,” understandably, because the game of TAG isn’t winnable. The dream remains the context for the dream we, in it, refer to euphemistically as “reality.”

“Teens” in the dream can’t admit they are at war with truth, so ‘the family’ is the safe, target for this dismissed issue. ‘The Family’ doesn’t want to know they are the replacement or stand in for the war on truth because they are at war with the truth, too.

TAG shows up at every level in the dream. The dream features ‘us’ using time and tricks to play the game of TAG and we work as a team to maintain the level of amnesia dreamers requite to obscure the truth about TAG. It’s the game ‘we’ play in this dream. It is the backbone of this dream. The dream features us in collusion to dismiss truth so we can drag out the fiction everything is real, and nothing is content in a dream. Anxiety reveals we know nothing we do in the dream will work to revoke the fact that is what ‘this’ is.

The ‘teens’ in this dream run into the truth that control is a myth and they dance away from this fact by inventing drama that maintains the fiction control exists. The ‘family’ becomes “the enemy” because they seem to have all the control, which obscures the deeper realization that it doesn’t exist. It pays to pretend they are “the enemy” so you can create a dualistic drama that features ‘opposition’ which defends the fiction someone exists to oppose someone. There is no one to oppose anyone, and this is why it occupies center stage in this dream. Opposition can only occur in the dream when one dreamer, playing the part of a person, fills time opposing another dreamer because you pretend they have control and you don’t. This is a parody in this dream because the issue isn’t relevant in the absence of people.

It should come as no surprise that it is the absence of anyone to have control that drives us on to assemble a parody that we have it. This is comedy, until the determination to defend the fiction you have it turns into “tragedy.” Dreamers are willing to die for the lie they have control. TAG includes ‘amnesia’ to obscure the fact control, in the absence of people, is comedy. If you can, dear dreamer, take a look at the control parody you deliver in this dream to defend the fiction it exists and you have it. Are you aware of how funny you are? Once you own your investment in this parody, all the dreamers around you become instantly transparent.

‘Teens’ play hardball with the control parody, but just below the surface lurks the fear that it is a go nowhere parody. If you surrender to the truth, you run the risk that ‘others’ will walk all over you. If you fight to defend the fiction you have it, the defense of this impossible fiction makes you feel quite crazy. The challenge is to paint “The Big Picture” and to assist those dreamers to identify how they use time and tricks to defend a no win game. “Winning” happens in the dream when the dreamer wakes up, steps out of the game of TAG, and learns how to watch the dreamers objectively as dreamers caught up in a go nowhere game. In many instances this sparks the beginning of compassion, once you realize the dream is the boat we are all in.

AND THE (New) WINNER IS

The dream that we find out 'selves' in features 'the dreamers' either coming to grips with the truth duality doesn't exist, or using time and tricks to drag out the fiction duality is real. It isn't real. In the context of this dream, it is the main parody that brings architecture to the dream. Without it, there would be no drama, no fiction called "good versus evil" and no tragedy. Without duality in the mix, the myth of separation would never get off the ground. Without duality, who would believe 'opposition' is possible?

The dream features duality precisely because duality makes a dream seem real. If you knew, consciously, that Mind is what everything is, who exists for you to oppose? In the absence of duality, you are always in the presence of the rest of you. Never mind the apparent differences, the costumes, the cultures, the languages and the 'borders' that serve as props to reinforce the fiction we are all at odds with one another.

If you knew duality was a prop in a dream, the odds go up that time would dish up "The Grand Epiphany," a moment when you see with great clarity that this dream features 'duality' for 'the dreamers' to unmask and expose as the hoax that it is, or to fill time acting it out because we can count on it to fill time with suffering, conflict, violence, and all the parodies that go with the fiction someone is 'right' and someone is 'wrong.'

In this dream, it is the hoax called duality that obligates 'the dreamers' to fill time with the defense of the lie 'the self' is real. Time features 'the dreamers' using a huge assortment of tricks to defend the lie the self is real because if there is no self, and duality is a hoax, what are we going to use to maintain the fiction we are 'the real people' we insist we are, in this dream, of course.

In this dream, 'the dreamers' depend on the lie duality is real to prolong the fiction the self is real. We can't play the part of 'real people' in this dream and know duality is only a parody that keeps the lie alive someone exists to have a self. In a dream? Are you nuts? In this dream, job one for 'the dreamers' is to rely on amnesia to shield us from the truth that no trick, no matter how eloquent, especially duality, will work to revoke the fact the dream is the context for 'everything' and 'everyone,' including how 'the dreamers' depend on 'amnesia' in the dream to obscure truth so we can fill time with the drama called "the very real."

In this dream, duality is mandatory to make it possible for 'the dreamers' to use life as the arena to defend the grand parody called "personhood." Time is the venue for that great misadventure. If 'the dreamers' woke up, one sunny morning, and knew, beyond the shadow of a doubt, that duality is a trick in a dream to make the dream seem real, the sound of their laughter would fill the universe. Long-standing "enemies" would be hugging in the streets. Every negative story you made up to keep dreamers in place as 'bad people,' perhaps the ones who "ruined your life," would be viewed accurately as sheer nonsense. Duality sustains the fiction, in the dream, that 'real people' turned us into 'tragic figures' with 'damaged selves' that require years of psychotherapy to recover. In a dream? Are you nuts?

The only 'people' you are ever going to meet are the dreamers in this dream whose devotion to the fiction duality is real ranges from full time to part time grudge, and a few 'odd ones' who watch the spectacle called 'opposition' we keep in place in the name of 'the very real.' If this is a dream, who exists to be against anyone, ever? Thanks to duality, this parody not only survives, it is defined by time. If this is a dream, who exists to be 'right' or 'wrong' about anything? Superiority is a parody dreamers display in support of the fiction someone exists to be 'right.' The translation is, "my self is a better self than your self, "and this is pure comedy in the absence of anyone to have a self.

Life in the dream features how the dreamers use time and tricks, especially 'amnesia,' to keep from knowing they know that the dream can only feature 'the dreamers,' and their level of devotion to the defense of the lie someone exists to have a self. The defense of this lie is pure comedy. Is your religion "the one true religion?" Is your political party the one true party?" If you are fortunate enough to be in a place in which you watch the dream and the drama the dreamers deliver in the dream, to drag out the lie someone exists to have a self, you are on the cusp of liberation. Granted, 'liberation' can only occur in this dream, but what did you think 'right now' was: Swiss cheese?

Think of what percentage of time in the dream is devoted to the defense of the lie the invented self will work to prove we are 'the real people' we work so hard to portray in this dream. How many hours do couples use up in the dream trying to prove that one self is better than another, to pretend they don't know there is no one to have one? The arguments are circular, redundant, and futile. Only dreamers in the dream, using time to defend the lie the self is real, thanks to the hoax called duality, believe the argument is winnable. In a dream? Are you nuts? Time is the venue for "blah, blah, blah, blah," with time off to eat, take care of bodily functions, before they return to the fray. Are couples any more absurd than nations who view victory as the annihilation of their imaginary "enemies?" The dynamics are always the same; it is the scale of tyranny that changes shape and form.

The ultimate irony is that no dreamer can prove it is a person, in a dream no less, no matter how much faith it places in the lie duality is not only real, but it will work to prove someone can vanquish another dreamer? In a dream? Are you nuts? It might be your good fortune to reconnect with the fact the dream is the context for "The Whole Show," and perhaps, just perhaps, you might step out of the drama to identify the contribution you made to the apparent seriousness of everything. Who do you love to keep in place, in the name of duality, as a real someone to be against? Almost every dreamer has such a list: it is the sign the parody called "duality" is alive and well.

What would the rest of your appearance in the dream look like if you tore up your list because it has become all too obvious, if not slightly embarrassing, that the list is bogus?

Twenty-Four Seven

In case you missed it, a television ad now states confidently that life is “24/7.” If Mind is dreaming “The Whole Show,” just the way it’s unfolding, how could it be otherwise? Right now is what Mind is dreaming, and, unlike less reliable venues, Mind is always ‘on,’ 24/7. Mind is what there is to count on. Without Mind, nothing would show up for us to wonder about, like “DNA,” and “The End of The World,” more recently referred to as “Global Warming.”

If Mind authors “The Whole Show,” then it might pay to consider that “Global Warming” is “The End of The World.” Who among us doubted that this drama called “reality” could include parts, like “The Renaissance,” and “The Grand Finale,” when Mind features ‘the end of reality,’ as we know it? Dreams tend to have beginnings and middle parts and “fini,” just like when the movie ends.

If you backtrack through history, what shows up is that we have been given every opportunity to wake up in this dream. Our status as dreamers never changes, so we either look at the mischief we create to drag out the fiction we are ‘real people,’ or we go hyper and never admit we know the whole show is Mind generated, which means we put the imaginary self first, as if doing that will prove someone exists to have one, and in this dream that is our ‘downfall.’ Defending a fiction … the self … as if someone exists to have one, defines what ‘time’ is all about. This is what makes ‘history’ messy.

‘Time’ could be about ‘waking up’ in this dream; letting go of pretending we actually believe something other than Mind exists to ‘go on.’ Awareness is all about surrendering to the fixed fact that we are dreamers in this dream, and we can either use ‘time’ exclusively to drag out the fiction we are ‘the real people’ we imposter, or we could fill time with the joy that goes with being what we are and can only be: dreamers in this Mind Generated dream.

Imagine what your life would be like if you no longer pretended you believe duality exists. In a flash, it would be obvious that, as Mind, everything is the same as everything. Once you admit you know there is no such thing as duality, all drama featuring ‘opposition’ stops dead in its tracks. There never was anyone to be against anyone. In a dream? Are you nuts?

Without our addiction to the fiction duality is real, how can a duality-based drama persist? In the absence of people, what in the world is “marriage counseling” all about? Two dreamers, using ‘duality’ to drag out the fiction ‘opposition’ is proof that “reality” is really real, go to the counselor to circumvent how much they rely on each other to keep ‘reality’ really real, with high marks for playing the part of “enemies.” It takes a load of shenanigans to drag out the fiction ‘reality’ is all about people. Comedy includes the fact there is no one to believe it because there is no one to believe it.

The price dreamers pay for ‘waking up’ in this dream is letting go of the lie anything will work to prove we are ‘the people’ we insist we are. If this is a dream, and the dream is the context for ‘everything,’ then that includes how we use ‘time’ in the dream to drag out the fiction we are ‘real people.’

Mind is authoring this outrageous parody called “life.” It features ‘the dreamers’ relying on a string of lies to drag out the fiction people exist, beginning with the fiction called ‘duality,’ which asserts that Mind is divisible into Mind and Not Mind, as if that’s possible. If Mind is the one of ‘something,’ how can it be divisible? If you doubt this, go Google up “Quantum Entanglement.”

There is no divisibility, except as a Mind generated parody in this dream. Without lie one, or ‘duality,’ no self- respecting dreamer has a chance to hatch the parody of ‘the separate self.’ From the first parody, ‘duality,’ follows ‘the string of lies’ dreamers count on to maintain the fiction people are the doers of events, like creating the intelligence required to justify invading a country, all in the service of defending the hoax someone exists to have a grand, brave, presidential self. This would be pure comedy if it didn’t taper off into ‘tragedy.’

If ‘duality’ is lie one in the dream, then all the rest are lies, too. In a dream, who exists to have a self, and can anything a dreamer ‘invents’ in the dream revoke that fact? Who exists to be the object of your ‘grudge,’ if there is no one to be anything? Who exists to have ‘control,’ if the dream is the context for the slew of parodies it takes to drag out the defense of “The Master Lie,” that ‘this’ is not a dream, and the dreamers are ‘the real people’ they imposter in the dream. In the absence of people, who exists to be a genuine victim? The dream features the sum of the parodies the dreamers require to maintain the grand parody called “personhood.”

We are in luck, however, because only the dream exists to be the context for “The Whole Show,” including ‘the dreamers’ and how they fill time with the fiction they are ‘this’ or ‘that’ kind of a person. Comedy becomes apparent when a dreamer starts to own what it relies on to deliver is own personhood parody in the dream. When the defense of the lie the self is real becomes intense, comedy turns into “tragedy,” and the dream turns into what passes for a genuine nightmare, like dragging out the fiction war is a winnable event in this dream. In the absence of people, this being just a dream, who could possibly win a war?

Mind set it up so our status as dreamers never changes one iota. What changes is our awareness of that fact in this dream. Most of us use ‘time’ exclusively to defend “The Master Lie”; in fact, isn’t that “The Main Event” in this dream. That’s what we do with ‘time.’ The opportunity to ‘wake up’ in this dream is imminent, once it becomes clear only the dream exists as the context for “The Whole Show.” On occasion, this fact comes into focus and a dreamer shouts “Eureka” because it is very clear there is no one to be anything, not even ‘not okay.’

There is nothing wrong about recovering the fact this is a dream; we are ‘the dreamers’ in this dream, and we can enjoy the truth that Mind is dreaming ‘everything,’ like this moment in ‘time’ right now. It’s enough to make a body smile.

THE RULES OF THE GAME

If, as an awakened dreamer in this dream, you happen to be flat with the fact the dream is the context for ‘everything,’ which means nothing is any more real than the flow of events in this incredible, Mind generated dream, than you, as a dreamer in this dream, are comfortable with the truth nothing going on has, had or will ever have anything to do with people.

This is what it means to be "awake" in this dream. It is from this perspective, which has all the earmarks of "the truth," that you can watch the dream ‘going on’ as the dream that it is and can only be, and observe where all ‘the dreamers’ in the dream are with the truth.

This dream features ‘the dreamers, filling time defending the fiction they are the ‘real people’ they insist they are. This is a parody in the dream because only ‘the dreamers’ can be said to exist to perfect this fiction as if what they do will not only work to revoke the truth, but they will, if they try hard enough, pull off the lie they are ‘the real people’ they work so hard to portray.

In this dream, this is "The Main Event." Everywhere you look, what there is to witness are the ploys the dreamers rely on to 1) pretend truth is false, so they can 2) deliver their personhood parody as if the parody is sufficient to prove truth is false. All of this takes place in the dream. ‘The dreamers’ deliver this parody in the dream, and the option to "wake up" is always imminent because our status in the dream is a fixed, unchanging fact.

This dream isn’t about people. By definition, how could it be. This dream features ‘the dreamers’ and what they do in the dream to pretend they "forgot" the truth so they can use time to prolong the fiction they are ‘the real people’ they insist they are. There is no one to be upset about truth at this level, but the dream features how ‘the dreamers’ in the dream come to grips with the fact ‘everything’ takes place as content in the dream, including "waking up," and, more likely, filling time defending the fiction the invented self is real.

Most of ‘the dreamers’ suffer in this dream because they can’t dismiss the truth because truth is what they are. Mind is dreaming "reality" just the way it unfolds, including where all ‘the dreamers’ are with this fact. If Mind is indivisible, how could a dreamer defect from that fact? This describes "The Launch Pad" for the whole drama that captures what ‘the dreamers’ do in the dream to pretend truth is false. Do ‘the dreamers’ hate the truth nothing they do in the dream will work to change the fact the dream is the context for "The Whole Show?" There is no one to be a person, so there is no one to hate the fact there is no one to be a person. In the dream, ‘the dreamers’ view the truth as the springboard to use time, often exclusively, to deliver a convincing personhood parody as if the game is winnable. Since no dreamer can be a person, no matter how much drama it brings to the task, the game isn’t about winning the game; it’s all about whose parody in the dream works best to give truth a hard time. "The dreamers’ compete to see whose parody drags out the fiction -- nothing is content in a dream -- the most convincingly. The range of commitment to the drama is from small time "victims," whose investment in "The Parodies," like duality, grudger, the self, control, works best to dismiss truth, all the way to those dreamers who play the game of TAG (The Anti-truth Game) on a grand scale. Their level of commitment to pretend truth can be revoked is astonishing, since most of us rely on the fiction "opposition" proves people exist to be "enemies," but a few take the game to the extreme and oppose the invented self as inferior, and the whole world as bad.

Extreme positions occur in the dream when a dreamer gets "dangerously" close to the truth there is no one to be anything at all. This is, after all, just a dream. Their drama settles for the lie they are a genuine "nobody," much maligned, scorned, rejected and ridiculed, who justify their grudge to keep other dreamers in place as the source of all their suffering. Blame works wonders to keep dreamers in place as "bad people," and insulates ‘the dreamer’ from the truth there are no people, not even someone to be a "nobody," so they can engage in a heroic drama of retribution in which they will "settle the score" with "the enemy."

Can you imagine how none of this would show up in the dream if all ‘the dreamers’ knew, consciously, that "The Parodies" they rely on to drag out the fiction victims are real people, are false; they are only the ‘excuses’ dreamers rely on to pretend they don’t know this is only a dream and there is no one to be anybody, let alone a real "nobody?" Once a dreamer sets sail to imposter being an ‘inferior being,’ the addiction to this fiction is profound because the suffering it creates realifies ‘the dreamer’ as a real someone with a less than okay self. The lie we are "nobody" keeps us one step away from the fact truth is much funnier because, this being only a dram, there is no one to be a "nobody." ‘The dreamer awakes in the dream when it is flat with the fact there is no one to be anybody, not because this is tragic, but because who in a dream can be a real "anybody?"

None of "The Parodies" has any validity whatsoever: there is no duality, or defection from Mind if Mind is indivisible. There is no one to have a ‘grudge.’ Dreamers rely on ‘grudge’ to play the part of a victim, or a real less than okay somebody. The issue about self is bogus if there is no one to have one. No one in a dream exists to have a self. ‘The dreamers’ fill time with the invented self as the vehicle to play the part of a ‘real person’ in this dream. Only ‘the dreamers’ exist, and only in this dream, to defend the parody ‘the self’’ belongs to a person.

No dreamer in this dream can play the game of TAG successfully without inventing a self to drag out the fiction life is all about ‘suffering people.’ The drama we occupy in the dream depends on the fiction "The Parodies" are real and not ‘the excuses’ dreamers depend on to drag out the fiction they are real, less than okay people. All ‘the dreamers’ know "The Parodies’ won’t work to revoke the truth. We take ‘a vow of silence’ so we can defend "The parodies" as if they are real facts. If there are no people, who exists to be your ‘enemy?’ Can the fiction of ‘the separate self’ survive as real drama after it’s clear duality is a hoax? There never was anyone to ever be separate from anyone, and not even our dependence on this parody can alter that fixed fact.

Waking up in this dream makes it easy to have compassion for all ‘the dreamers’ because we work so hard in this dream to use "The Parodies" to prolong the fiction this is not a dream, and all ‘the dreamers’ are ‘the real people’ they insist they are. Only ‘the dreamer’ exists to make "The Shift" from the fiction called ‘personhood’ in this dream, to the truth that the dream is what right now is, and it features ‘the dreamers’ and where they are with the truth in the dream, from one now to the next. In this dream, we are famous for using time to give truth one hell of a run for the money.

It is the defense of the lie we are ‘real people,‘ in the extreme, that turns a simple dream into a periodic nightmare. Mind gives us every chance to reconnect with who we are and can only be, and a few do, but most dreamers use time exclusively to drag out the lie they are people, often ‘real nobodies,’ no matter what the consequences. If there is no one to be a genuine ‘nobody,’ what are we looking at? Tragedy or comedy? Could they be two sides of a single coin?

THE CONTROL-EXISTENCE FACTOR

Amnesia insulates the dreamer from the truth it can’t be a person. Without amnesia, it would be one with the truth and the game of TAG, or "The Anti-truth Game" would be over. If defending the fiction dreamers are ‘real people’ is "The Main Event" in this dream, amnesia is mandatory. If a dreamer is going to wake up in this dream, it has to turn its canoe around and go back upstream, through the eddies of amnesia to come out on the other side into the clear light of truth: Mind is "The Big Picture" because it is the source of this fantasy called "reality," including ‘the lives the dreamers are having in this dream.’

Dreamers posing as ‘real people’ in this dream have a right to run scared: we hide the truth we are imposters to prolong the fiction the game of TAG is a winnable game. If no dreamer can be a person, no matter what it does in the dream to implement that fiction, the game isn’t winnable. The dreamers know this, so the real game includes pretending we don’t know the game isn’t winnable so we can use time to drag out the fiction the game is winnable. To see this clearly is to identify the origin of comedy. How can a dreamer impostering a person become one? The discrepancy between the truth and the charade is fear.

I was thinking about all this with respect to Posttraumatic Stress Disorder. As the soldiers come home, this diagnosis will fill the news. Some will recover, but most will deal with it for the rest of their lives.

It is highly unlikely the military will be willing to make the shift from reality is real to reality is content in a dream. The dreamer’s first line of defense, thanks to amnesia, is to pretend we don’t know control not only doesn’t exist, but in the context of a dream, it isn’t even relevant. Dreamers defend the fiction control exists because we rely on this myth to maintain the fiction someone exists to have it, or even "lose it." It’s much more likely that we "lose it" precisely because we don’t have it. Amnesia guards the fiction control exists because dreamers rely on this myth to defend the myth of personal existence. If you recover the truth control doesn’t exist, doesn’t this interface with the next segment of truth which is control in the absence of people is impossible. For the average dreamer, the myth of control is essential for the myth of existence. They go together like bread and butter. None of this upsets people: only dreamers devoted to the defense of the fiction that’s what they are.

Your average home-bound dreamer enjoys a system that keeps the fiction in place control exists, and we have it. The invented self fills time with the comedic parody of control, ranging from bragging, machismo, all forms of superiority, grandstanding, name dropping, dare devil recklessness, and on and on. We all know instinctively we are witnessing a comedy, but in defense of the lie control exists, we take a vow of silence to avoid wandering through amnesia into the land of truth. "The Main Event" in this dream features the sum of what the dreamers do to circumvent remembering "existence," in the absence of people, this being a dream, is pure comedy. Is there anything a dreamer in a dream can do to ultimately prove control exists? The game of TAG isn’t winnable because no dreamer will prove this is not a dream and that he or she is the person they work so hard to portray in this dream. TAG can’t cancel truth; all it can do is pretend truth is false, or it will go away if we ignore it. If truth is ‘everything,’ as Mind, you tell me how anything dreamers do in this dream can revoke that fact, especially when Mind authors the game of TAG as part of ‘everything?’

In this dream, ‘death’ is the primary reminder that control doesn’t exist. We know it is mandatory in this dream, and that the dream includes "living" as one part of the dream, and "dying" as the other event in the dream. Neither has anything to do with people. Both are content in this dream. If you appear, the odds are excellent you will do both, and if you can see your face in a mirror, you are still doing the "living" part. When you can’t see your face, it could be your time in the dream is over.

What happens to your average dreamer when he or she shows up in a war? The myth of control is taxed by the sights and sounds of imminent death. Is death the problem, or does the daily threat of death punch a hole through amnesia to expose what we normally dismiss: that there is no such thing as control. The dream will unfold the way the dream will unfold, and it doesn’t ask the dreamers "how do you like this part?"

Perhaps there would be no "Posttraumatic Stress" if this insight took us to its source: nothing ‘going on’ has, had or will ever have anything to do with people." There is no one to be in jeopardy. The dream features "jeopardy," and the more a dreamer clings to the fiction "someone is in jeopardy," the greater the stress. Is stress the truth there are no people, or the consequence of defending the fiction that’s not true. Being in a war, which is about as real as ‘this’ can get, must elevate the existential moment: are people in jeopardy, or is the lie people exist in jeopardy? It begins to look like the stress is a delayed, re-played response to almost coming to terms with the truth ‘everything’ is content in a dream, including war.

One man reported that he felt like he was "coming apart." In the absence of people, who exists to "come apart?" What seems more likely, is that the collection of parodies dreamers rely on to prolong the fiction "reality" is real, and not content in a dream, start to come unglued as the high, no control moments of endless combat puts us face to face with the truth we seek to dismiss: that we use time to wage war with truth and truth is the winner no matter what we do in the dream to dismiss it. Pretending we don’t know the war against truth isn’t winnable may be what "stress" is all about. Once the soldiers come home, they live in limbo, somewhere between almost knowing the truth, and still trying to pretend truth is false. I don’t think we can have it both ways.

The first question I would ask a soldier with PTSD is, "tell me about those moments when you almost got it control doesn’t exist." A torrent of feeling might ensue that brings on the healing of sharing our inherent sense of vulnerability. We don’t run anything and dismissing that fact only postpones our date with that fact. You can cry about it, shout out "that stinks," which is all good, but when you bingo on the truth, we remember we are one with the truth, and not outside of it, pretending what we do will work to prove it is false. Defending duality, as if it is real, takes it toll on our health in this dream.

In this dream, TAG treats truth as "the enemy," as judged by how we rely on amnesia to pretend truth doesn’t exist, or it is false. The comedy of tragedy comes into view the minute you remember that truth, as Mind, authors "The Whole Show," including us using time to give truth a hard time. If a dreamers with PTSD got this, would they shift from fear to humor, and if they did, wouldn’t that provide a clear clue that "reality" is not what most of us insist it is?

As long as we think people exist to be "treated," how can we get results? Dreamers need "treatment" because everything we do in the dream to prolong the fiction we are the people we insist we are, is a Parody. It takes a lot of energy to be who we aren’t instead or who we are and can only be. Pretending we don’t know what the truth is, when truth is what we are, is the epitome of stress.

THE MAIN EVENT

If you are a card carrying monotheist who has little remaining interest in the defense of plurality, then Mind and non-duality can be viewed as synonyms. The dream features this as “surrender to the truth,” which, as far as drama goes, is and on and off spectacle. One day you are flat with the fact that right now is what Mind is dreaming, and, just in case you use this to do “smug,” it’s gone and you are back in duck soup as a dreamer still displaying devotion to the fiction that some things exist outside of this dream. Oh yeah?
Like what?

Mind is dreaming this whole remarkable saga, called “reality,” including the full cast of characters and their level of devotion to the fiction they are ‘the real people’ they insist they are. In a very crude sense, since nothing is really that cut and dry, there are those above the line, within “The Spectrum of Creation,” who do “hard time” in the dream because they use time, often exclusively, to defend “The Master Lie,” that ‘this’ is real, and all ‘the people’ are the people they insist they are. They not only dismiss the truth the dream is the context for ‘everything,’ including their contribution to the drama, but they are famous for their level of amnesia. They don’t hear what you are saying. You sound like static to them. They are dreamers who show up determined to prove nothing is content in a dream, and this usually requires high levels of duality to float the fiction the self belongs to a person, of all things.

The Mind-generated drama called “reality” divides the dreamers into those who create drama to prolong the fiction ‘this’ is not a dream, and those with lower levels of amnesia who don’t find the idea this is a dream that amazing, or reason to be alarmed even. Above the line, you can predict that the dream will feature “tragedy” because dreamers court suffering to drag out the fiction “life” is all about ‘real people,’ which may be the oxymoron for all time.

The shift from above the line to below the line is subtle, at least initially, but it picks up speed once the dreamer realizes that Mind is the author of “The Whole Show,” which often replaces “tragedy” with “comedy” because the dreamers are hell bent for leather to use suffering to prove they are the people they insist they are, and the dream is the context for all of this “awfulization.” In this light, is there any duality between “tragedy” and “comedy?” Both reflect where a dreamer is with the truth Mind is dreaming ‘everything,’ including where ‘the dreamers’ are with that fact.

Below the line, “tragedy” is viewed as “comedy” because nothing ‘going on’ has, or ever had, anything to do with people. The dream is the context for both, and both disclose where every dreamer is right now in the dream with the truth that Mind is all there is. Dreamers who use time to drag out the fiction they are ‘real people’ in this dream rely on “tragedy” to maintain the fiction nothing is content in a dream. There would be no “tragedy” in the dream unless dreamers filled the dream with the fiction ‘real people’ are having “tragic lives.”

When a dreamer is delivering this parody, listen, watch, show compassion, and if a moment arises in which you can promote even a little relief from the burden of the lie everything is real, and often “awful,” do it. Otherwise, know Mind features the full panorama of drama, from the good, the bad, the ugly and the very ugly. This is not some simple, two-dimensional dream. It features ’people’ dealing with the full spectrum of possibilities, either stuck way above the line in the world of “tragedy,” or beginning to show signs of reconnecting with the fact nothing exists outside of the dream. The Buddha is smiling that enigmatic smile of knowing Mind is dreaming “The Whole Show,” with no exceptions.

The more a dreamer is stuck above the line, the more amnesia keeps the fiction in place that “tragedy” is people-based. If you view the “comedy” of this moment, keep it to your self, or wait to see if that dreamer is ready to deliver a parody about the parody it is stuck in. Those dreamers who do “hard time” in this dream do so in defense of the fiction “life” is all about people, and it’s a “rough deal.” This is not some artifact: this describes how most dreamers use time in this dream.

In fact, isn’t ‘time’ the venue in which dreamers do “hard time.” How much proof do we require to accept the fact this is “The Main Event” in this dream? How many dreamers do you know who don’t rely on some form of ‘grudge’ to give the invented self a full time job in this dream? Some dreamers are ready to see that, but the majority show up to fill time with ‘grudge’ to defend the fiction duality is real. Without ‘grudge,’ duality is suspect, and without duality, how can a dreamer defend the invented self as if it actually belongs to a person?

It’s a package deal in the dream. Mind already worked it all out.

NOT IT!

Mind features ‘the dreamers’ playing TAG with truth in the dream as “The Main Event.” TAG stands for “The Anti-truth Game.” The dream features how ‘the dreamers,’ as core, animated content in the dream, deal with the truth nothing they do will work to prove they are people.

Even a cursory look at ‘the players’ reveals most show up to use ‘time’ to play TAG with truth, as if the sum of what they do in this dream will somehow magically revoke the fact that “The Whole Show,” with no exceptions, is being dreamed by “The Infinite Mind,” or whatever we love to name this monotheistic ‘something’ that is busy dreaming ‘time’ to provide a context for this drama called “reality.”

We can abandon morality with regard to the ethicacy of dreamers using ’time,’ in a dream, to imposter people. If that’s “The Main Event,” then that’s what ’the dreamers’ do in this dream: fill ’time’ with whatever it takes to defend the impersonation as if it is people-based. Mind can’t feature TAG as a ‘real game’ unless the dream includes ‘amnesia,’ so ‘the dreamers’ can pretend they “forgot” there is no such thing as duality.

Without amnesia to obscure the truth that Mind is all there is, history, as a record of “what ever happened to the people,” is a goner. Mind is dreaming history, just the way it unfolds, including the introduction of “strange political doings,” and “Global Warming,” and whatever else is on the docket, waiting its turn to add to “The Mind Show,” this extravaganza dreamers, posing as people, love to refer to as “reality,“ as if there is such a thing. That’s the name of this dream: “Reality,” and it manifests as a real dream, featuring ‘the dreamers,’ as usual, filling ‘time’ with the game of TAG

In this dream, what makes TAG so alluring, apparently, is that, by definition, the game isn’t winnable. Amnesia can obscure the truth there is no duality, only Mind busily engaged in dreaming ‘everything,’ just the way it manifests, but amnesia can’t cancel truth, it can only scramble it so ‘the dreamers’ can defend the fiction of the separate self that is so essential to impostering a genuine person, convincingly I might add. The lie duality exists provides the backbone for all drama, which dreamers, impostering ‘people,’ sorely require to maintain the fiction the game of TAG is winnable.

Most of ‘the dreamers’ in this dream reveal, at least indirectly, that they know the game isn’t winnable, but amnesia scrambles the clarity of this fact so ‘we’ can keep the game in play, as if we might still prove this is not a dream, and that ‘we’ are ‘the real people’ we work so hard to portray. The dismissal of truth shows up everywhere in the dream. Truth, thanks to amnesia, may be “out of sight and out of mind,” but the truth is no dreamer can defect from Mind if Mind is all there is. Isn’t that the point of the game of TAG; to scramble truth with amnesia so we can continue to fill ‘time’ with the lie we are ‘the people’ we insist we are?

Mind features ‘the dreamers’ relying on amnesia to dismiss the fact Mind is all there is, so the dream can include the drama called “TAG,” and Mind features ‘the dreamers’ remembering they know, even though they love to pretend they “forgot,” that Mind is the context for “The Whole Show,” regardless of where this or that dreamer is with the truth Mind is all there is.

Truth, that Mind is all there is, exists as a constant, which provides the dream with the opportunity for Mind to dream ‘the dreamers,’ filling ‘time’ rejecting truth, or ‘recovering’ truth. Either way, both outcomes can only occur in this dream Mind is dreaming, as usual. Mind dreams a dream that includes “Samsara,” or what ‘the dreamers’ do in this dream to drag out the fiction they are ‘real people’ having ‘real lives,’ mostly filled with upset because it isn’t easy to keep a lie in place as if it is a fact, and “Nirvana,” or that ‘joyful moment’ in the dream when a dreamer, for whatever reason in the dream, remembers it knows that in the absence of duality, Mind is what right now is, all the time, with no exceptions. This often triggers falling to ones knees with relief from the fiction there is someone to be upset. In this moment, the dream often includes ‘tears of joy,’ and a hearty burst of ‘laughter.’

Nothing ‘going on,’ as content in a Mind-generated dream, has ever had a single thing to do with people (no matter how devoted ‘the dreamers’ are to the game of TAG).

Imagine being in this dream flat with the fact the dream is featuring ‘you’ in the dream flat with the fact that is what ‘this’ is. In the absence of anyone to be a person, that moment is always imminent. As a dreamer, why not run an inventory on the way you rely on ‘amnesia’ to prolong the fiction defection from Mind is possible. If there were a ‘you,’ the joke would be on you. The truth is, there is no one to be the butt of that or any other joke.

The temperature today in the dream is ‘74 degrees.’ How’s it ‘going’ in your neck of the dream?

GETTING REAL IN A DREAM

It’s no one’s fault, of course, that the dream we find ‘our selves’ in, features us waging a raging war against a hard and fast, fixed rule: “THE OPTION TO BE A PERSON DOES NOT EXIST.” In the guise of a ‘real person,’ especially a genuine materialist, or even someone of stature, the rule is not only dismissed as utter nonsense, it is relegated to the back of the metaphysical bus, along with “spirituality” and “the bizarre and the mystical.”

Don’t be fooled by any of this. The cornerstone of this dream includes “amnesia,” the ability to dismiss, obscure and ignore the fact the rule, in the context of this dream, is a fact. Amnesia can dismiss it, so the dreamers can make their personhood contribution to “THE MAIN EVENT,” but what makes truth true is that it is a fixed fact. The dream includes amnesia so the dreamers can dismiss the rule in order to use time and tricks to defend “The Master Lie,” that nothing is content in a dream, and all ‘the people’ are the people they insist they are. Without amnesia, there would be no “MAIN EVENT” for the dreamers to strut their personhood stuff.

Once a dreamer accepts the rule, it is set free to be in the dream, watching the dreamers dismiss the rule in order to play the part of ‘real people.’ “The MAIN EVENT” is what ‘right now’ is, but before the rule (BR), the dreamer thought it was watching people having lives, and, more often than not, “difficult lives.” As dreamers, are we not famous for using every trick in the book to pretend what we do in the dream will work to revoke the rule? If only dreamers in this dream exist to engage in this parody, the drama shows up as slapstick. No dreamer, no matter what it does in the dream, can cancel the rule: but oh how we try. That’s what makes “THE MAIN EVENT” the main event. Statistically, dreamers rely on ‘the creation of suffering,’ as backup, to give the rule a run for the money.

What there is to witness in this dream is the sum of what the dreamers do to make their contribution to “THE MAIN EVENT.” Some display high amnesia and some display low amnesia, but the truth is we can’t wage war against the rule without some level of amnesia. Who you pretend to “prefer” will be viewed as dualistic nonsense in the face of the rule: not one of them can be a person. In a dream? Are you nuts? It’s true: the higher the level of amnesia, the more dramatic the personhood parody. In the extreme, you meet those dreamers who play hardball and are busy trying to scare everyone to add to the fiction the game is winnable. Depending on amnesia, some dreamers are cuddlier than others. I am a sucker when confronted by a dreamer who relies on total body Tattooing to compete in “THE MOST WEIRD CONTEST.” In this dream, the competition for whose parody works best to cancel the rule is fierce.

Soon enough you begin to wonder what does amnesia hide that would wreck the game? This is pure irony, because the truth that it tries to dismiss is that there is no duality if Mind is the author of “THE WHOLE SHOW.” Amnesia pretends duality exists so the dreamers can hatch the invented self, to star in the invented drama, to play the part of a ‘real person,’ often requiring moderately high levels of ‘suffering’ to dispel the idea the dream is the context for the whole show.

Mind can’t set ‘the dreamers’ free to use time to defend the fiction they are real people, in a dream no less, without amnesia. There is no duality; just this MIND SHOW featuring ‘the dreamers,’ thanks to ‘duality,’ who show up to give the rule a run for the money. There is no “MAIN EVENT” unless mind features ‘the dreamers’ pretending to forget that little fact, so they can prolong the fiction they are ‘the real people’ they insist they are, instead of dreamers using time to portray ‘real people’ in this dream, the one that is ‘on’ right now. The dream is the context for “THE WHOLE SHOW,’ including the dreamer’s dependence on amnesia to dismiss the fact duality doesn’t exist.

If there is no one to be a “Psychologist,” why fill time with the lie there is someone to be one? If this is a dream, is there anyone to be anything? This insight can be very unsettling; depending on the dreamer’s level of attachment to the fiction it is some kind of a ‘real person.’ Your average ‘president’ in this dream fills time with what passes for ‘presidential activity,’ along with reassuring photo ops. ‘Generals’ are rarely seen without their medals because they are necessary to authenticate the lie generals exist in fact. In a dream? Are you nuts?

Reality features the sum of all the ways ‘the dreamers’ show up to pretend their parody will work to disprove the rule. Sorry gang; if Mind is all there is, and ‘this’ is it, then the dream includes all of ‘us’ delivering our best shot to dismiss truth, thanks to amnesia, to fill time with the fiction we are ‘the people’ we insist we are. There isn’t even anyone to chastise for this stunt. In this dream, this is “The Standard Stunt.” The second you know this is a fact, you realize you always knew what this was, and didn’t you have fun pretending you “forgot” so dreamer you could make your contribution to “THE MAIN EVENT.”

What does the marquee say about how you use time to give the rule a hard time in this dream? ‘Snob’ is good, but ‘super arrogant’ is even better. How about playing the part of, ‘a man of God.’ Don’t forget to quote scripture just so the audience is clear about who you are busy being. Laughter is one step away from the truth the dream is jam-packed with impersonators, all vying to see whose parody passes for the real deal. In a dream? Are you nuts?

The rule will survive anything we throw at it.

THE ADDICTION

Once “waking up” in the dream includes knowing people have no place in the whole equation, the dreamer has no choice but to let that lie go, often with great reluctance, since the defense of this fiction has had such a long run on Broadway. Dreamers know you by the way you use time to impersonate a person. Perhaps you rely on ‘pomposity’ to play the part of a real, knowledgeable, expert, or ‘super efficiency’ to defend the fiction someone exists in fact to discover “perfection.” Our scam in this dream is always transparent once you know only the dreamers exist, and only in this dream, to deliver this scam. This dream captures the sum of all the ways the dreamers use time, tricks and amnesia to defend “The Master Lie, that ‘right now’ is not content in a dream and that all the dreamers are ‘the real people’ they work so hard to impersonate.

This captures the essence of what most of the dreamers are doing in this dream, and it is this realization that leads to the observation that all dreamers are transparent precisely because the dream is all there is to be ‘on,’ and that includes ‘right now’ as the context in which the dreamers use time to promote the impossible fiction that they are ‘the people’ they work so hard to impersonate.

Truth is always transparent if ‘right now’ is a dream in progress. Once a dreamer accepts that fact, it is free to watch how it uses time, tricks and amnesia in the dream to play the part of a ‘real person,’ delivering the endless re-run that supports the lie the dreamer is the person it insists it is. Even more to the point, the dreamer is free to watch the level of commitment the rest of the gang displays to play the part of ‘real people’ in this dream. Most dreamers’ defense of the lie they are the person they portray in the dream is spectacular. Many dreamers dare you to talk them out of the way they use suffering to defend the lie “a suffering self must be a real self.”

The variations on the fiction a less than okay, or ‘bad,’ self’ will work to prove the dreamer is a person, is viewed directly as totally transparent. This isn’t some kind of a special trick or privilege: This is what the dreamers in this dream do to defend “The Master Lie,” which identifies what we are ‘doing’ in the dream. The truth is there is no one to do anything at all. ‘Talking,’ for example, is a favorite dreamer activity in the dream. Dreamers ‘talk’ incessantly, and if you really listen to the content of the ‘talk,’ what there is to hear, not surprisingly, is ‘self talk,’ or what it takes to float the lie the dreamer has a self, either a ‘good’ one or a ‘flawed’ one.

Time is the context in which we the dreamers reveal the program that runs our commitment to document that people exist, and that is who is doing ‘the talking.’ Most dreamers playing ‘person’ rarely listen to your take on ‘things’ because ‘time’ provides another chance to run the lie the dreamer’s personhood parody is pulling ahead in “The Great Contest,” to see whose rendition of personhood looks like truth is gone, or is on the run..

In the absence of people, there is only one addiction, and that is the dreamer’s commitment to use time, tricks and amnesia in this dream to prove people exist, the dreamer in particular. If this is a dream, you can only have compassion for this addiction because, as powerful and time-consuming as it is, it is indefensible. How could a dreamer in a dream prove it is a person if the dream is the only context there is for anything?

The addiction to the fiction we will prove people are at the center of this drama captures the essence of what this dream is all about. The primary addiction must be obscured by amnesia to dismiss the truth this is how dreamers use ‘time’ in this dream. The defense of the lie dreamers are ‘real people,’ with ‘real selves,’ describes what there is to witness ‘going on’ in space-time, which is just a fancy name for this dream. If there are no people, only dreamers using time to defend the lie people exist, how many “criminals” are there?

No dreamer can play the part of a genuine ‘bad person’ without relying on the invented ‘bad self’ to create ‘bad behavior’ to defend the fiction the dreamer is a real, less than okay person, and residing in prison is used as the ultimate confirmation for this parody. If a dreamer relies on “crime” to do personhood believably in this dream, how eligible is that dreamer for ‘rehabilitation?’ In this dream, defending the lie we are the people we insist we are takes precedence over everything, including “freedom,” having a “good life,” and coming to terms with the truth.

How many dreamers defend the fiction someone exists to have a self and use the invented self to play the part of a ‘real person’ in this dream? There are exceptions to the rule, of course, and when you meet such a dreamer, you will notice they don’t use time fostering the addiction the game is winnable. Because the dream is the context for the game, ‘winning’ isn’t even an option. The dream can’t include people, only dreamers using time, tricks and amnesia to play the game. “Reality” is the arena in the dream in which the game takes place. Everyone, being a dreamer, has a front row seat at the show. The level of amnesia determines the dreamer’s ability to watch the dream objectively, or to view dream content as the raw stuff of life.

Dreamers can transcend their addiction to the fiction the invented self will work to prove the dreamer is ‘the real person’ it uses time to impersonate, but dreamers, on the whole, are very reluctant to part with the lie people exist. In this dream, the defense of the lie people exist, and the invented self will confirm this lie, is legion. In this dream, this is how most dreamers fill time. The drama takes place in the dream, which is what ‘right now’ is, 24/7, day in and day out, no matter how successfully amnesia works to obscure this fact.

Dreamers can recover the truth precisely because no dreamer can ever be anything but a dreamer in this dream, and ‘right now’ can never be anything but more of the same dream. Today we get a thoroughly “botched presidency,” and soon enough all of that will fade into history only to be replaced by the next wave of events in the dream. Your status as a dreamer is fixed, permanent and non-negotiable. The game acquires momentum because it isn’t winnable: no dreamer in a dream can ever be anything but what it already is, but in this dream, ‘the dreamers’ show up to give truth a real run for the money.

Better choose what you do in the dream to play the part of a ‘real person,’ because you either choose that or suffer the consequences that go with pretending you don’t know what the truth is. If truth is what you are and can only be, dismissing that fact may be classic in this dream, but it is always patently absurd, and ‘symptoms’ show up as proof that no lie, regardless of our devotion to it, can alter the fact the dream is the context for the whole show.

AMNESIA

By: Dr. Gregory Tucker

Without amnesia, how would your average dreamer in this dream maintain the fiction it is the person it works so hard to portray? On the other side of amnesia lives “the rest of the story”: namely, good old Mind is dreaming “reality” just the way it shows up as “history.” Amnesia keeps “history” in place as the fate of people over time. This one was a genuine nobody while that one made a huge dent in the course of history. Amnesia serves as the dividing line between the truth about truth, and what the dreamers do to prolong the fiction life is about people. If this is a dream, the burden of proof rests on the shoulders of amnesia. Without it, how could a dreamer use time and tricks to defend the fiction history is all about people?

The whole dream depends on amnesia to keep nothing in place as something. A dream is a dream, but, with the inclusion of amnesia, the dreamers in the dream use amnesia to insist everything is very real. No dreamer can play the part of a victim convincingly without amnesia working faithfully to keep that fantasy in place as real. The dream precludes the existence of anything, other than Mind generated ideation that manages to assume apparent mass and form. Dreamers called “Physicists” already know Quantum Mechanics warehouses what resides upstream of amnesia, but their amnesia is too thick to ‘see’ “The Big Picture” that already exists and will disclose a few morsels over time. Truth is miserly: it gets top honors for being “The Great Tease.” It doles out wisdom the way people feed the pigeons in Central Park.

Amnesia fills the dream with suspense: will this or that dreamer remember nothing it does in the dream, in the name of personhood, will work to revoke the fact it is a dreamer using time and tricks to prolong the fiction it is some kind of a person, and probably a ‘victim’ at that. It is remarkable just how much suffering this impersonation requires to establish itself as an apparent fact. If amnesia could talk, it might say, “since that parody can’t cancel truth, how long do you intend to stand behind it as if it will work?” Fortunately, dreamers have amnesia about their amnesia so most of the good questions never show up on the radar screen of consciousness.

“The Big Picture” clearly establishes the fact that this drama called “reality” would never get off the ground without the inclusion of amnesia. Amnesia makes it possible to pretend we have zero memory about the truth so we can put all our energy into the person we insist we are. Anxiety is one of the many indirect clues that threatens to remind us that we defend our parody as if truth is absent, or even “false.” Amnesia can’t cancel truth because truth is a fixed fact, but it has the remarkable ability to scramble truth to the degree we think everything is what we think it is. Amnesia works diligently to keep parodies in place as undeniable facts, like there is someone in fact to have something wrong with them.

Dreamers who go about their business of being ‘real people’ in this dream count on amnesia to shield them from what leaks through the wall of amnesia as vague suspicions that “there is something fishy about this whole deal.”

Dreamers are amnesia dependent. You can’t play the part of a ‘real person’ convincingly without the aid of amnesia to keep truth out of the mix. Some of the players play hardball and you know who they are the minute you meet them. They occupy a bubble of amnesia that resists the intrusion of any unwanted, new, information that challenges the integrity of who they portray so faithfully. Amnesia allows a dreamer defending the fiction it is a “superior person,” as if there is such a thing, to fill time with this impersonation from start to finish. They occupy time as some kind of walled off entity that knows you don’t know all of the tributaries to the Nile, or the middle name of all the presidents since this fantasy called “democracy” got its start in the dream.

It’s a good thing that you run into dreamers who depend on high levels of amnesia to play hardball. They show up to test your current level of “reactivity.” The more you react to their performance negatively, fearful that “The Best Man” contest exists, and they are way out front, you reveal that you still don’t get it: you are always in the presence of dreamers relying on amnesia to pretend they are the real person they work so hard to portray. There is no one to win any contest, and this fact lives on the other side of amnesia. Once this fact is accessed permanently, let those who play hardball serve as teachers about the folly of our parodies.

The dreamer is ‘awake’ in the dream when it can sit still and watch the play with little or no reactivity, except, perhaps, humor. Thanks to amnesia, are we not surrounded by slapstick? The dream features dreamers relying on time, amnesia and tricks to pull off the fiction we are who we portray. Now I ask you, if this is a dream, how could that be possible?

About "The Recovery Process"

Welcome to “The Recovery Process.” Over twenty years ago I read the works of Wei wu Wei and, as a practicing Clinical Psychologist, it became obvious that his synthesis of Buddhism outlined a very different approach to Psychotherapy. He wrote eight books, all gems, and I decided to synthesize his works into what I now refer to as “The Recovery Process.”

I work with clients over the phone using this process. For reasons that will become apparent, I no longer call myself a Psychologist. I don’t advertise, rent office space or solicit business. Clients refer clients to me because the process works. It works because it recovers the truth which allows you to identify who you are, who you pretend to be, as well as what “reality” actually is.

This approach is 180 degrees out of phase with our traditional views about reality because truth is 180 degrees out of phase with what we refer to as “reality.” There is the truth and, as a context, it includes the sum of the lies we assemble to create and defend our fictitious view of reality.

The Western view holds that everything is real, including what shows up as “reality,” including the self, people, and all the suffering we endure in a lifetime. The Eastern view, espoused by Wei Wu Wei and many others, holds that none of this is true. In a sense, “The Recovery Process” views The Eastern View as closer to the truth than The Western View, and that The Eastern View is the context for The Western View; namely that The Western View represents the sum of the lies we assemble to defend “The Master Lie,” that everything is real, especially the self and the people who argue for the self, often using the creation of suffering as the vehicle to prolong the fiction the self is real.

“The Recovery Process” identifies what the truth is and proceeds to provide the reminders the client requires to recover the truth of who they are in fact, and to use truth to identify the lies the client depends on to prolong the fiction that everything is real, the self in particular.
